Our client is an industry leading company, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Cyber Security Analyst to join an established and reputable firm based in Birmingham.

About the role:

The Cyber Security Analyst will ensure the quality of critical business systems is kept high at all times, be a key team member, take responsibility of projects and be open to learning and understand new technologies along the way.

The Cyber Security Analyst will be involved in all aspects of Information security management with a strong focus on Incident management and analysis.

The Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for identifying it security risks across the group, to provide remediation and IT security management plans.

The Cyber Security Analyst will be at the core of It security operations and will work closely with the network and development teams. Due to the nature of the business the ideal candidate will have strong exposure to web application security. The cyber security analyst will be involved in large project across the group and responsible for being and keeping the organisations aware of emerging threats.

The Cyber Security Analyst would suit an experienced IT professional with a broad technical background including (cloud technologies and penetration testing techniques) , as well as a strong knowledge of the latest threats and technologies

IT security certifications such as CISSP, CEH or CISM will be a plus. Also a good exposure to Penetration testing or extra curricular Ethical hacking activities such as Bug bounty or CTF competitions will be of great benefit.
