Your new company
The Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) are one of the UK’s foremost centres for intelligence, cyber security and counter terrorism and are tasked with the armed protection of the nation’s nuclear industry. To defend against the increasingly intelligent challenges presented to our information and cyber security teams, we’re looking to grow our capability by appointing a brand new Cyber Security Analyst with operational and technical expertise who will help to deliver a mature and robust information security strategy.
Your new role
You’ll join a team of highly experienced information security professionals reporting into the CNC’s Head of Security, tasked with discovering new methods to effectively manage risk and defend against cyber-attacks. You will utilise your technical and governance knowledge to review and audit existing information security processes and deliver our roadmap for implementing improved practices, policies and technical solutions as you see fit. You’ll interact with senior stakeholders daily with the unique opportunity to influence strategy across the entire organisation.
What you’ll need to succeed
As the successful candidate you’ll display a real passion for technology and information security. Your background will cover knowledge of information security processes and protocols and an underlying understanding of technology which will enable you to influence technical teams and stakeholders. You’ll have worked in a diverse organisation and helped them on their way towards systems, information or data security.
