We need an awesome IS Test Analyst like you to execute application specific validation and testing activities. You will have responsibility for helping to ensure that any new or changed IS application service matches its Design Specification and meets the Requirements of the Business.
You’ll be working in our energised, dynamic and focused IS Service Transition Team for Andy, our IS Service Transition Manager. Andy is our larger-than-life resident Scouser; a lifelong Everton season ticket holder who loves to look for golf balls in the trees at Blyth Golf Club, after hacking his way around the course. He is responsible for ensuring that we deliver the robust Services that the Business needs to deliver its new Strategy, driving Continual Service Improvement throughout, while ensuring Transition adds real value, in terms of quality…

Where you work
We have invested heavily in our IT infrastructure to allow us to work in an agile way. You could choose to be based from your home, anywhere around the country or if you prefer company you could work from one of our regional hubs. Our Head Office is in Newcastle upon Tyne, so you will need to come and visit us Geordies [and Scouser] once in a while!

You can elect to fit these around your working day or use your flexi to take the time off. Our focus is on getting the job done, not your working hours!
A bit about you
You have a strong customer focus, seeking out ways to provide a high quality outcomes for your internal customers. You are an excellent communicator adapting your message to the group or audience and ensuring that your understanding is clear at all times. You combine these skills with excellent negotiation and relationship building skills, allowing you achieve the best outcomes. Additionally, you are highly committed to continuous improvement, for yourself, to processes and for the business.
Technically, it would be great if you had the right certificates, however we appreciate that you might have the some great transferrable skills and the desire to work towards getting certified. Amongst some of the skills we are looking for are;- Significant experience of delivering and supporting IT services using ITIL best practice and insights as to its links with other best practice methodologies and frameworks (PRINCE2, MSP). Holding an ISTQB / ISEB Foundation, ITIL v3 Foundation certificate and ideally hold an ITIL v3 Service Transition certificate.
