Cyber Security Training & Awarness Manager – Permanent – Northampton

My Northampton based client are currently looking for an experienced Information Security education specialist, on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the VP of Information Security, this role will play a key part in the development of my clients security maturity. This role will have ownership of all things training & awareness – from developing & creating new content and campaigns, through to delivery. Thereby giving you the autonomy to run and shape the function in your own image.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Working with the Learning and Development Team to create internally developed content for training
o Planning and managing training rollout out
o Troubleshooting end-user issues.
* Managing training completion metrics / follow-up process for new hires
* Enhancing and managing the awareness program
* Hosting onsite security awareness sessions
* Creating and managing phishing campaigns and associated training for click-users

Key Skills

Experience leading a cyber security training & awareness program
Proven experience reducing security risk due to the rollout of your program
Solid information security knowledge
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
This is a fantastic opportunity to rollout a multinational training & awareness program for a fortune 500 brand – during a very exciting time in thier security journey.

The role will be fully remote working environment during covid, and will office based in Northampton once things return to normal. The position is paying up to £58,000 + package, however there is plenty of flexibility on this for the right candidate.
