Information Security Consultant required for our client based in the Crawley area for an initial 6 month contract. There may also be the option to be located at Doncaster if this location is better suited.

Due to the secure nature of our client’s project, the successful candidate must either hold valid SC Clearance or be willing to undergo prior to the commencement of the project.

You will be responsible for identifying and reducing business risk by undertaking probing, analytical technical security assessments by reviewing, maintaining and updating all technical documentation, policy and procedures in line with the network systems and applications; in accordance with HMG Policy Framework and Information Assurance Standards.

Information Security Analyst skills/experience include:

  • In depth experience in security technical support with a variety of systems and applications
  • Proven experience in assessing technical risk, reviewing/updating network security policies and procedures.
  • Understanding of Security products- desirable with Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Juniper, Bluecoat, McAfee, Cisco and RSA Envision
  • Understanding of virtualisation technologies, VMWare desirable
  • Able to provide analytic advice on security implementations on new/existing systems
  • Experience in performing formal risk assessments and production of Risk Management and Accreditation Documentation (RMADS) in line with UK Government policy.
