A large and well-respected business insurer based within York’s historic city walls is looking for an IT Security Analyst to join their growing team.

The business has recently appointed a new CISO who is working to expand the security function across the company to enhance its levels of IT security protection.

The IT Security Analyst will help to improve the security and quality of systems development and will work closely with the technical support, project and business teams.

You will be part of a team that is the driving force behind ensuring all risks are managed and maintained, as well as ensuring that standards and polices are adhered to.

You will also play a pivotal role in ensuring that the business has excellent levels of IT Security protection, and that future system developments have fully embedded security design and testing.

Ideally the successful candidate will have:

·Experience of working in an IT Support and delivery organisation, and a significant level of experience in IT Security.

·A CISSP or equivalent certification.

·Experience of adopting Cloud technologies in a corporate environment.

·Strong problem-solving skills and be able to demonstrate a calm and methodical approach to high-pressure issue resolution.

·Good knowledge of project management and project delivery.
