Role: Systems Engineer

Cyber Security Technical Environment 

We pride ourselves on adopting best engineering practices (e.g. Agile, CI/CD, BDD, TDD). Though we can’t get into the ‘nitty-gritty’ of what we do and use, what we can say is that our tech stack is varied because we choose the best tools available for our customer projects. Some of the tools we are currently using are (not limited to): Java, Python, AWS/Azure, Docker, Hadoop, JavaScript, Chef, MongoDB and Oracle. You could be involved in cloud, big data or machine learning/AI projects.

Role & Responsibilities include:

  • Investigate and resolve issues relating to applications and services
  • Assist in Red hat migration to CentOS
  • Perform backup tasks and Linux administration
  • Contribute to maintenance, installation and problem resolution

Skills & Experience

It would be useful if you have some experience in the following:

  • Knowledge of Linux Red Hat and CentOS
  • Active Directory administration
  • Linux administration and deployment
  • Atlassian tool-set administration (JIRA, Confluence, Stash, Bamboo etc.) for software development teams
