Senior Security Analyst

Supporting the Information Security function in maintaining the requirements of the Information Security policy and standards by carrying out regular information security operational processes; assessing and maintaining compliance; and detecting and mitigating cyber-threats.Maintains and continual improves Security Operations to identify potential breaches for further investigation
·Operating the Security Information and Event Management system to detect and report on threats and issues.
·Performing daily and weekly monitoring tasks, managing alerts and follow-up actions. Continually developing and improving monitoring and reporting procedures.
·Maintains and improves the proactive and detective cyber security technologies and associated processes
·Auditing IT systems and processes for compliance and performing fixes and updates where relevant (such as deploying anti-virus).
·Designing and executing vulnerability assessments, managing penetration tests and security assessment/audits, working with IT to recommend and help mitigate identified risks.
·Analyzing, reviewing and reporting on identity and access governance processes and the use of privileged (e.g. admin) accounts.
·At least 5 years’ experience in security operations role
·In depth understanding of technical security systems (e.g. internet filtering, anti-malware, vulnerability management, penetration testing, DLP, SIEM and firewalls)
·Self-motivated with strong analytical, research and problem solving skills.
