A leading financial services company in Central London are seeking a Cyber Security Project Manager to help lead a number of internal initiatives to prevent against cyber threats. The role will be permanent.

The role

The Project Manager will be instrumental in working across the full end to end project lifecycle from initial development write ups through to delivery. Covering all areas of stakeholder management from raising risks and mitigations and financial control. Some more responsibilities are listed below.

Project Manager Responsibilities

  • Develops overall project plan consistent with project objectives as defined by the project owner and key stakeholders in accordance with accepted project management standards.
  • Works to improve project management processes and business systems that support project decision makers.
  • May lead others and direct all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
  • Ensures that all project control systems within the scope of the project are in place and integrates project data for decision makers
  • Completely understands and applies job practices, techniques, standards, principles, and concepts.

Project Manager Requirements

  • Good understanding of cyber and security, managing multiple projects / workstreams simultaneously
  • Excellent vendor management and able to monitor relationships
  • Project experience globally with specific emphasis on delivery and implementations
  • Must have implemented Security Operations Centre (SOC) commercially
  • Must have worked with Managed Security Service Providers (MSSP)
  • Experience within Security Incident & Event Management (SIEM), Cyber Defence Centre (CDC) or Cyber Excellence Centre (CEC)

As mentioned above cyber security exposure is a must have to be able to operate across the project lifecycle end to end. They are looking to pay up to £65,000 DOE, with excellent and ongoing career progression and excellent benefits scheme.
